RHS Campaign for School Gardens

Royal Horticultural Society
The RHS is the UK's foremost gardening charity driven by a simple love of plants with a belief that gardeners make the world a better place. The campaign for school gardening is designed to encourage children and young people to garden whilst learning about their environment and understanding sustainable practices. Such learning experiences have a real impact on children's achievement, health and well-being.

Our school garden has so far completed the following awards with the RHS school garden campaign.
  • Level 1 - Planning Your Garden
  • Level 2 - Getting Started
  • Level 3 - Growing and Diversifying
  • Level 4 - Sharing Best Practice
Our school garden club are now busy working on the last award which is level 5 - "Celebrating with the Wider Community". So far we have held an open day with a visit from an outside expert. We now need help in our garden from the wider community to complete our level 5. If any parents are interested in taking part in developing our garden further then please get in touch.
